Features: This research project involves reviewing nearly 3,000 ancient books and extracting thousands of research materials from over 210 works for classification. These materials are broadly divided into three categories: First, collecting reviews, introductions, and references to Mozi, Mohism, and the Mohists from the writings of the Warring States philosophers and their contemporaries, using this to trace the formation history of Mohism and study the later Mohists. Second, gathering reviews, introductions, and references to Mozi, Mohism, and the Mohists from classical literature from the Qin and Han dynasties to the late Qing Dynasty, to study the transmission history of Mohism from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Third, compiling bibliographies of modern and contemporary works to create A Catalog of Mohism in Chinese History and A Catalog of Mohist Research Papers in China, and using these to review modern and contemporary works on the collation and study of Mozi and Mohism, thereby researching and writing the history of the collation and study of Mozi over the past century.
