Can you have sex after a crowd?

Patient's question:

I had an abortion on November 7th. Because the abortion was not done cleanly, I went for a Dilation and Curettage (D&C) on November 20th. My period arrived on December 15th, and it lasted for 6 days, with mild lower abdominal pain on the second and third days (which was not the case before).
Yesterday, on December 22nd, I had a post-abortion check-up with the doctor. They said there is no blood remaining in the uterus and that I can stop further check-ups as long as there are no other symptoms. The doctor also prescribed me a week's supply of "Gentiana Capsules" to take.
Could I have sexual intercourse before finishing all the medication? If not, when would it be safe to do so? Please advise, thank you!!

Doctor's answer:

Postoperative patients should undergo necessary anti-inflammatory treatment to prevent postoperative infection and avoid complications. It is recommended to pay attention to hygiene after surgery, and avoid vaginal irrigation and sitz baths. Sexual activity should be avoided for 4 weeks postoperatively. After recovery, it is important to continue using contraception. Generally, doctors advise women with postpartum consultation risks to pay attention to warmth and avoid coldness. Additionally, patients should create an environment conducive to emotional stability and stress relief. Wishing the patient a healthy delivery.
