From The Cop on the Beat to A Love Story in the Wind and Snow; from Never Say Goodbye to Your Life Is So Passionate, Jade Amulet, and How to Save My Love, Haiyan has forged his own path by blending television and novels. Given this, Haiyan's TV drama scripts possess an irreplaceable artistic charm. They are not just ordinary film and television scripts but a brand-new concept of TV novels. Readers can savor the authentic essence of the author's novels while also appreciating the stunning scenes that should only be seen on television screens—truly a win-win situation. Jade Amulet is one of Haiyan's most romantic and idealistic works. With its smooth and melancholic language and dramatic, ups-and-downs storyline, it tells a heart-stirring, extraordinary love story. Love and ideals are perfectly intertwined. This book is one of the "Representative Novels of Famous Contemporary Chinese Writers." It is a lyrical work that showcases the kindness and tolerance of Chinese women, blending ingenuity with simplicity, softness with strength, and maintaining delicate qualities without sacrificing grandeur. In Jade Amulet, Haiyan tells a dramatic love story. The female police officer Anxin's life takes a dramatic turn due to an accidental "affair." Torn between family and enemies, and caught between emotions and the law, she endures the cruelty of death and rediscovers the sweetness of love, ultimately growing into a strong and complete woman who dedicates herself to the extremely tough and dangerous work of anti-drug enforcement. Haiyan excels at combining police and crime themes with love stories. The characters in his works are vividly portrayed, and the plots are gripping. His novels, with their youthful passion and intense portrayal of human nature, have gained many readers in recent years. The publication of Jade Amulet will allow readers to enjoy the traditional style of Haiyan's novels while discovering some new breakthroughs. According to some people in the literary circle who have already read the work, its captivating storyline and colorful characters will make it, like Haiyan's other works, a source of inspiration for film and television directors.
