How can pelvic effusion be cured

Patient's question:

I had a pelvic ultrasound last month and found 5.82.4 cm of fluid in my pelvis. After a week of comprehensive treatment (Chinese medicine enema, intravenous fluids, and pelvic therapy), along with more than two weeks of Chinese medicine liquid treatment, a follow-up ultrasound on December 6 showed 3.52.3 cm of pelvic fluid remaining. I would like to ask why there is still fluid and how I can be completely cured. I have already spent nearly 4,000 yuan. Is there a reliable cure for this? Thank you, doctors.
Additionally, I would like to ask what a colposcopy can detect. I sometimes feel occasional sharp pain in a part of my lower body, and I suspect it might be the uterus. Am I suffering from cervical inflammation? This is my first question.

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Pelvic effusion is considered to be pelvic inflammatory disease. In terms of treatment, single therapy for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is less effective, and most cases adopt comprehensive treatment. Antibiotic therapy can be used, and in some cases, antibiotics are used in conjunction with dexamethasone. Oral dexamethasone 0.75mg, three times daily, should be gradually tapered when discontinuing the medication. Alternatively, a-? protease 5mg or hyaluronidase 1500u can be administered intramuscularly, once every other day, with 7-10 treatments constituting a course, to facilitate adhesion resolution and inflammation absorption. Additionally, topical treatments such as "Panyanqing," "Fuerxin," and the external use of "Jieshu Liquid" for rinsing can be employed. Panyanqing primarily has the functions of clearing heat, promoting diuresis, regulating qi and resolving depression, invigorating blood circulation, and resolving hard masses. Fuerxin has the effects of clearing heat and promoting diuresis, removing deficiency fire, replenishing vital qi, and inhibiting the growth of various bacteria. Through this comprehensive treatment, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can be cured.
