Can pregnancy occur in the same room?

Patient's question:

Hello, I had an ultrasound on November 30th in the morning, and the results were: one follicle on each side (after taking ovulation-stimulating medication), with a size of 78mm (about the same size on both sides). On December 2nd, I had another ultrasound, and the doctor said no follicles were found, possibly indicating that they had been released. Could you please answer the following questions?
1. How big is a follicle usually when it is released?
2. Approximately when is it released?
3. If I have sex tonight, will there be a chance of pregnancy?
4. How many times should I have sex? Thank you!!!

Doctor's answer:

The follicle diameter reaches 18-25mm and naturally discharges. The size at which the follicle discharges varies from person to person; some discharge when it reaches 15mm, while others need to grow to 25mm. Follicle development is a continuous process, and the normal diameter of a follicle should be between 18-25mm. At the time of menarche, a woman's ovaries contain 300,000 to 500,000 follicles. Each month, a batch of follicles develops, with only one dominant follicle fully maturing and discharging an egg, while the rest spontaneously regress. A woman's lifetime only has 400-500 follicles that develop and mature to be discharged. The growth of a primary follicle into a mature follicle can be divided into 8 stages. From the 6th stage follicle to the 8th stage follicle, it takes 10 days, which is exactly the follicular phase of a menstrual cycle. Starting from 16mm, after 2-3 more days, the follicle will develop to 20mm and then discharge.
