What are the reasons for bloody leukorrhea during the first month of pregnancy

Patient's question:

I just got pregnant for a month, but there is often blood mixed in my leukorrhea. I want to ask if this is a sign of miscarriage, or an ectopic pregnancy.

Doctor's answer:

There is a possibility of threatened miscarriage. Currently, you need to rest in bed, minimize activity, and receive progesterone treatment to support the pregnancy. Increase your nutrition intake, maintain a balanced diet, and prevent various infections (such as colds, diarrhea, etc.). Abstain from sexual activity for now.
After 60 days of pregnancy, have an ultrasound examination to confirm the fetal heartbeat. Attend prenatal checkups regularly. Generally, the TORCH test can be done around the 2.5-month mark of pregnancy. After 15 weeks of pregnancy, you can have a Down syndrome screening. Between 24 and 28 weeks, you can undergo a glucose screening test.
It is recommended to rest, minimize exercise, monitor your condition, and seek medical attention for examination if necessary.
