Features: Since the beginning of the new century, the term "fengshui" has suddenly become a very trendy concept. As things have their origins and endings, it is necessary to clarify the original meaning of the term "fengshui" from a fundamental perspective. We edited this book, A Brief History of Fengshui, specifically to collect detailed historical materials from the Siku Quanshu and add "Editor's Notes," attempting to present the true nature of the term "fengshui" in traditional culture to readers in the form of a "dialogue." This allows readers to understand how ancient people (especially Confucian scholars) regarded the concept of "fengshui" and to decide their own stance on it. The content of this book is divided into six parts:
1. The three different connotations of the concept of "fengshui" in history;
2. The author and publication time of the Zangshu, the first text to introduce the concept of "fengshui";
3. A collection of historical materials related to the concept of "fengshui" in the Siku Quanshu;
4. Using historical records to trace the origins and development of the so-called "Yang Gong Fengshui";
5. Using historical records to trace the origins and development of the so-called "Yang Gong Fengshui Luo Pan";
6. Using historical records to trace the origins and development of the series of books on "Yang Gong Fengshui."
