Features: Xuande Ding Yi Pu, an eight-volume work by Lü Zhen of the Ming Dynasty, included in the Siku Quanshu Zongmu. This book was compiled under the order of Lü Zhen, then Minister of Rites, and others during the Xuande era of the Ming Dynasty. It is said that during the Xuande era, a eunuch named Wu Cheng, who was in charge of casting and smelting, collected and organized this book together with Lü Zhen and others, and presented it to the imperial court. However, the book did not circulate. Later, during the Zhengtong era of the Ming Dynasty (1446–1449), Yu Qian, as the Minister of Rites in charge of sacrifices, obtained a copy from Wu Cheng. Wen Peng then borrowed a transcript from Yu Qian's descendants. It was not until the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty that the Xuande Ding Yi Pu began to circulate in the world.
The first and second volumes of the Xuande Ding Yi Pu contain imperial decrees and notices, charts submitted by the Ministry of Rites, and memorial slips presented by the Ministry of Works. The third volume records memorial slips submitted by the Ministry of Works when applying for materials, as well as the names of bronze vessels used in rituals by local governments, military academies, and the two halls of Wuxue and Wucheng.
