It provides candidates with a step-by-step, planned approach to daily memorization and learning. This book is a meticulous creation by the author, based on the vocabulary list from the newly released "2006 National Master's Entrance Unified English Examination Syllabus" (hereinafter referred to as the "Syllabus"). It covers all postgraduate entrance vocabulary listed in the Syllabus. The book is divided into four parts:
Part 1 is "Postgraduate Basic Vocabulary," totaling 1,743 words, which falls within the scope of the "Syllabus" and can be fully mastered by candidates on the first day.
Part 2 is "Postgraduate Core Vocabulary," totaling 3,960 words, which also falls within the scope of the "Syllabus" and is the part where candidates should spend the most time and effort. It is recommended that candidates memorize it from the second day to the 46th day.
Part 3 is "Postgraduate Essential Expansion Vocabulary," totaling 228 words, which falls outside the scope of the "Syllabus" but is essential for postgraduate entrance exams. Candidates can grasp it with an understanding. It is recommended that candidates memorize it from the 47th day to the 48th day.
Part 4 is "Postgraduate High-Score Vocabulary," totaling 767 words, which also falls outside the scope of the "Syllabus" and is the part that candidates with surplus learning capacity should tackle to achieve high scores. Candidates can grasp it with an understanding. It is recommended that candidates memorize it from the 49th day to the 50th day.
Additionally, in the appendix, we have included a "Postgraduate Vocabulary and CET-6 Vocabulary Gap Table," totaling 205 words, for reference by candidates who have taken the CET-6 exam.
For this revised edition, the author has arranged 11 short passages in the "Postgraduate Core Vocabulary" section to specifically guide candidates in their vocabulary review. The content of these passages is the essence and key techniques of vocabulary memorization, which can help candidates solve their doubts and quickly improve their learning efficiency.
