Features: Under the impact of the "entry into the WTO" wave, China's social structure is undergoing extraordinary changes. Modern crime has experienced both quantitative and qualitative transformations, posing significant potential threats to the instability of the social structure, the imbalance of the social system, and the vulnerability of public safety. This is necessarily characterized by the abrupt mutation of China's crime patterns and trends. This book studies the evolution and regulation of crime patterns, divided into two main parts: Introduction and Comprehensive Analysis. The Comprehensive Analysis specifically presents the crime evolution process as a unified whole composed of three interconnected parts: Morphology Theory - Mechanism Theory - Regulation Theory, for longitudinal analytical and argumentative examination.
The Morphology Theory primarily argues the overall evolutionary trends of violent crime under the background of "entry into the WTO," including the terrorization of violent crime, the high-tech networking of crime, and the modernization of environmental crime. The Mechanism Theory, correspondingly, explores the causal mechanisms of the evolution of three crime patterns—international terrorism, cybercrime, and environmental crime. The Regulation Theory, in addition to providing targeted systematic discussions on international terrorism, cybercrime, and environmental crime, also delves into the institutional regulation of official misconduct. It proposes concepts for a new community-based comprehensive governance system for public security, offering forward-looking thinking and preventive countermeasures, thereby providing a theoretical basis for relevant government departments to formulate crime prevention strategies.
