[Preface] Publisher's Message Urban construction and the urbanization process in China are thriving, and as a key component, urban landscape construction is booming. Over the past two decades, the development of urban landscapes in China has been unprecedented in both speed and quantity. Landscape planning and design concepts have gradually deepened and improved, with the field expanding and design tools and auxiliary software continuously evolving. The landscape design profession and landscape designers have moved from the background to the forefront, producing numerous works. Landscape is a comprehensive entity that integrates social, natural, and artistic functions. It must meet social needs such as ecology, environmental protection, leisure, and urban beautification while adhering to the natural laws of botany. At the same time, it should reflect creative concepts and individual styles in art.
