How to treat metrorrhagia well

Patient's question:

I myself have been overworked and feel that my body isn't very comfortable, so I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor said I have experienced metrorrhagia, and that it is common among women in menopause. The vagina and uterus frequently bleed. Now, I want to know how to treat this condition well?

Doctor's answer:

Western Medicine Treatment
  (1) Hemostasis
① Progestogen drugs: Progesterone 20mg/day, intramuscularly for 3 days; Medroxyprogesterone acetate 8—16mg/day, Funing tablets 4-8mg/day, or Fuke tablets 2.5-5.Omg/day, orally for 5 days. For prolonged amenorrhea with thick endometrium, testosterone propionate may be used concurrently; young patients 25mg/day, elderly patients 50mg/day, intramuscularly for 3-5 days. Applicable for patients with hemoglobin greater than 6g and menopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
② Estrogen preparations: Diethylstilbestrol 2mg, every 6-8 hours, with a 1/3 reduction in dose 3 days after stopping bleeding, maintaining a dose of 0.5mg/day until 20 days after stopping bleeding. Alternatively, estradiol benzoate 2mg, intramuscularly every 6—8 hours, with the same reduction method, followed by oral diethylstilbestrol after stopping bleeding. Applicable for acute severe bleeding with significant anemia in adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding patients.
③ Other hemostatic drugs: Such as Anluxue, Hemostatic, Aminocaproic acid, Vitamin K, etc., but their efficacy is not ideal, so they are only used as supplementary measures for hemostasis.
