Network and reality

Author: Tang Lüquan
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1998-06-01
Features: This book is introduced through five chapters: Introduction: As a scientific philosophy of the body, Process and Reality: The functional concept of existence, Power and Effect: A dynamic form theory, Individuality and Relational Relevance: The perspective principles of the body, Conclusion: The metaphysical concept of necessity and the philosophical methodological problem. It is worth mentioning that, in terms of integrating Eastern and Western thought, the approach of the "Neo-Confucian" philosophers is generally based on traditional Chinese philosophy to integrate Western philosophy. However, from the perspective of Tang's intellectual development, Tang takes the opposite approach, integrating Chinese philosophy based on Western philosophy, with the foundation of Western philosophy being phenomenology and organismic philosophy. Therefore, although Phenomena and Reality is a monograph interpreting Alfred North Whitehead, its importance for the construction of field philosophy is immeasurable.
