Features: When the Beijing Publishing House printed "Shuhua" in 1962, I wrote a preface, which is the preface to the "Shuhua" section in this book. It explained the reasons and consequences, as well as the joys and sorrows of writing short essays on this topic, from before to after the liberation. This time, "Hai'an Shuhua" is being printed, and the previous preface along with the old one is included. Regarding "Shuhua" itself, it was not necessary to say anything more. However, since the title and author's name have changed, in order to express my gratitude to a few predecessors and friends, the new anecdotes indeed have value, and I cannot help but add a few more words as the preface for this revised edition.
