Features: This collection includes columns from June to December 1979. The term "Lake" refers to the shores of Daben Lake in Kaohsiung. In reality, I am about four hundred kilometers away from Daben Lake, which is somewhat misleading. However, there are many things in the world that don't live up to their names, and adding one more doesn't make a difference. To put it bluntly, if I'm not by Daben Lake, am I in the depths of Daben Lake? "Notes on Reading History" is indeed genuine and well-organized. At first glance, it seems to possess great knowledge. In the latter half of the 1960s and the first half of the 1970s, during my imprisonment, I collected materials for four monumental works titled: "The Death of the Emperor," "The Death of the King," "Injustices in Chinese History," and "The Group of Chinese Heroes." If possible, I will elaborate on them gradually.
