Unforgettable memories

Author: Cai Yuanpei
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1999-12-01
Features: This book is selected from the "Biographies of Famous People" in The World of Mortals and the "Chapter One of Autobiography" in The Universe Wind. The "Chapter One of Autobiography" is naturally written by the subject himself, while the "Biographies of Famous People" is written by others about the subject. It is about self-awareness and being recognized by others. Together, they give a vivid impression of the corruption and poverty of old China, which are mutually causal. History needs to be reviewed. This book is not a "light read" but a meaningful and interesting collection of materials in the history of modern culture. If Mr. Chen Duxiu himself had not written it, who would have imagined that his actions in the next dozen years would be decided by that "sure to pass the exam" fat man from Xuzhou!
