Economic Horizon

Features: This book is a collection of articles by the author exploring the expansion of the economic perspective in recent years. Their exploratory and experimental nature far exceeds their rigor and maturity. From a theoretical perspective, some articles discuss the philosophical problems of economics, specifically the epistemological and methodological issues of economics, while others critique the fundamental flaws of modern economics' single assumption about human nature, as well as the invalidity of its explanations of human behavior in social activities under this assumption. From the perspective of combining theory and practice, some articles attempt to break through theories, expanding both the depth of the theory and its scope of serving practice, or deepening the understanding and level of theory through the understanding of practice. Beyond discussing economics theory itself, there are also theoretical reflections on practical issues such as economic ethics, happiness, freedom, value, fairness, and the "professional homeland." All of these no longer limit themselves to simpler deductions based on the simplistic definition of "economic man" as human nature, but instead touch upon the complexity of human nature. I believe that in the vertical expansion of the economic perspective, the collection should be able to showcase the efforts I am capable of. The expansion of the economic perspective is a shared endeavor of fellow economists. As an amateur "economist" who is deeply passionate about economics yet burdened with a heavy professional workload, my research time is intermittent, my thoughts are scattered, and my intellectual fruits are fragmented. I hope that my reflections here can inspire economists to recognize the historical responsibility and main lines of expansion in the economic perspective, increase the strength of progress, truly flourish the world of economics, and benefit human society.
