1. This dictionary is a small reference tool for general readers to look up Chinese characters.

- "~" represents the character head,

- "△" is marked at the top-left corner of traditional or variant characters to indicate that they are treated as separate heads.
7. To reduce the number of entries, radicals are categorized by stroke count into 2-stroke, 3-stroke, and 4-stroke groups, with the specific category and stroke count noted to the left of the character head.
8. To achieve the best lookup efficiency with a single flip, the dictionary frames each page in black and marks the radicals and classification symbols for the single characters on that page.
This dictionary has three main features:
① In terms of layout: The main body is arranged according to the editor's invented "Positional Radicals Lookup Method," which successfully addresses the "three difficulties" of the current radicals lookup method—difficult to remember radicals, difficult to determine radicals, and difficult to count strokes—while achieving "instant lookup" and avoiding the previous inconvenience of having to go through multiple steps to find a character, which was time-consuming and laborious.
