When I initially chose it, I weighed the matter carefully from both subjective and objective perspectives. In the highly competitive academic circles of the West, the quantity of published papers serves as a measure of academic achievement and a lever for career advancement. Scholars succumb to the pressures of time, speed, and promotion, neglecting the principle that rapid success often leads to rapid decline, and can only make short-term academic arrangements, unable to engage in in-depth research.
