Features: Without concentrated time for piano practice, while grading students' homework requires maintaining proficient piano playing skills. Additionally, to facilitate playing ethnic-style examples and students' compositions, I devised methods to utilize fragmented time for flexible finger exercises and adapted fingerings suitable for pentatonic melodies. Over the years, I have accumulated dozens of practice methods. Here, I have compiled and printed 20 of them for reference by those in need. This set of finger exercises aims to address several issues:
1. Cultivating the habit of playing minor thirds in a "pentatonic stepwise" manner using adjacent fingers, allowing both skipped and adjacent fingers to be applied.
2. Familiarizing oneself with the scales and general melodies of all keys and modes on the keyboard.
3. Gaining proficiency in some transposition methods of pentatonic modes.
4. Practicing special melodies and patterns, such as chord arpeggios with added notes, chord arpeggios, variable rhythms in free-form styles, decorative pentatonic embellishments, and patterns that simulate the playing styles of instruments like the guzheng, yangqin, ancient qin, and drums. These exercises are beneficial for playing works with pentatonic melodies.
