Unchewed cultural fragments

Features: At the age of over sixty, I have been tossed by the waves of politics, literature, and miscellaneous matters to the near-shore foam or the shore. When I have free time, most of the time I just sit on the side and watch the tide. Occasionally, some foam with a salty sea taste or scales of fish splash into my nose and mouth. Then, I casually sniff, chew, and taste them, feeling something. At night, when there is nothing to do, with some idle light from the lamp and enough ink in the pen, I hastily jot down a few pages.
