How to treat gynecological diseases without affecting the fetus

Patient's question:

Hello doctor, I am 40 days pregnant. A week ago, I was found to have leucocytes in my vaginal discharge, with a result of ++ for white blood cells, and also mold. However, I have no symptoms myself, and my vaginal discharge has no odor, nor does my vagina itch. What could be the reason? I am now afraid to take medication and am only using Jie Er Yin for cleaning. The doctor checked and said there were no abnormalities in the vagina, no cervical erosion, but there were traces from a debridement after a self-coagulation knife procedure a few months ago. It has been a week now,
Did using Jie Er Yin a week ago have any impact on the fetus?
How should I be treated without affecting the fetus?
First follow-up question: doctor

Doctor's answer:

Hello, bacterial vaginosis is a mixed infection caused by the imbalance of normal vaginal flora, but there are no changes in clinical and pathological findings. Anaerobic bacteria are predominant, and the exact cause is not very clear. Some people are asymptomatic, while the main symptoms in those with symptoms include increased vaginal discharge with a fishy odor, external itching or burning sensation, which worsens after sexual intercourse. The first-line treatment is oral metronidazole 400 mg, taken 2-3 times daily for 7 days. Local application of metronidazole effervescent tablets 200 mg, once nightly for 7-10 days, is also used. The cure rate is approximately 80%. During pregnancy, oral metronidazole treatment should be avoided.
