Features: This book reviews ancient and modern Chinese judicial systems, discusses the three major goals and political significance of China's modern judicial reform, designs strategies and tactics for the reform, and conducts research on various aspects such as judicial institution reform, judicial openness in China, reform of the jury system, reform of the evidence system, criminal trial reform, civil trial reform, administrative trial reform, execution system reform, procuratorial system reform, reform of judicial supervision, reform of judicial security, and arbitration system reform. Based on deep concerns about issues such as judicial corruption, we have chosen the topic of China's judicial reform, which is highly practical. After more than two years of investigation, reflection, discussion, and writing, we have finally completed the research on this topic according to the framework we designed. We are fully aware that the research on many issues still lacks breadth and depth, and the proposed reform concepts are not yet mature and perfect. However, due to the strong timeliness of the topic itself, we are left with regrets and will leave room for future.
