Features: Entering the 21st century, the international situation has undergone profound changes. Advances in science and technology are rapid, the process of economic globalization is accelerating, and competition for comprehensive national strength, which includes defense capabilities and national cohesion, based on economy and technology, is becoming increasingly intense. At the same time, our country has entered a new stage of development in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and accelerating the socialist modernization. In this new era, our Party and State face many new opportunities, challenges, and tests, which require us to further answer the fundamental questions of "What is socialism and how to build socialism" and "What kind of Party to build and how to build it." Comrade Jiang Zemin's proposal of the Important Thought of "Three Represents" was put forward on the basis of a scientific judgment of the Party's historical position. Therefore, the 16th National Congress made a historic decision to include the Important Thought of "Three Represents" in the Party Constitution and establish it as the guiding principle that the Party must adhere to in the long term. This provides a powerful theoretical weapon for us to strengthen and improve the Party's construction, promote the self-improvement and development of socialism in our country in the new century. The task of this research is to guide ourselves with the Important Thought of "Three Represents," starting from the realities of China, and to study some major issues concerning the whole nation in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
