Features: The preface is a collection of anecdotes by Elder Yu Shaojie, who enjoys asking for and recording stories. Over the past forty years, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, like a forest of towering peaks, yet also like a chaotic collection of treasures with no proper storage. Thus, he has shared the best of them. It discusses ancient times and also gathers contemporary stories, not necessarily following Zhao Qi's Decisive Records or merely appending to Pei Qi's Sayings of the Lin, making it a miscellaneous collection of fictional tales.
