Features: Whether in the business world or in the world around us, change is accelerating. This means we need to break free from the constraints of the past to effectively adapt to ongoing changes and gain a competitive edge in the future. The purpose of Breaking Management Conventions is to cultivate a skill in readers, enabling them to develop a series of thought concepts that lead to leapfrogging work outcomes. The human brain is like a high-performance computer, but most people don’t know how to make it work effectively. For the majority, the only thinking strategy they know is logical analysis, and the only alternative is unclear brainstorming (which rarely produces results). Breaking Management Conventions aims to enable readers to use eight thinking strategies, which are based on a completely new concept—the triangle thinking. Linear or vertical thinking always has blind spots, so horizontal thinking emerged, broadening perspectives but usually yielding impractical conclusions. Triangle thinking overcomes these limitations by directly focusing on the final practical results. It requires doing three things simultaneously: conceptualizing leapfrogging changes, accumulating experience, and applying creative thinking.
