Features: Plants are the most vibrant elements in garden landscape construction, endowing various landscapes with life and vitality. Chinese ornamental plants hold a pivotal position in Chinese and even global landscaping, which is the foundation for China's reputation as the "Mother of World Gardening." Fruiting ornamental plants primarily showcase the fruits of ornamental flowering plants. Their characteristics include brightly colored fruits, extended periods of ornamental appeal, and rich seasonal changes. Examples include the orange-red persimmon, tangerine, and kumquat, the bright red Nian Tianzhu, Pyracantha, Wolfberry, Thorns, and Euonymus, the brown-black Ligustrum, the crimson Pomegranate, the snow-white Thuja, and the multi-colored Five-color Pepper, as well as other potted grapes and apples, all of which possess high ornamental value. To support the Ministry of Agriculture's "Agricultural Technology Household Program," we have compiled the book Production and Management Techniques of Fruiting Ornamental Plants. This book collects 30 species of fruiting ornamental plants (excluding varieties and cultivars). It provides descriptions of each plant's Chinese name, common name, family and genus, excellent varieties, growth habit, main morphological characteristics, main biological characteristics, living environment, origin or distribution, and garden characteristics. Special attention is given to cultivation techniques, propagation methods, and pest and disease control, all presented in an easy-to-understand, concise, and practical manner. This book is highly informative, visually intuitive, practical, and operable, and will play a positive role in guiding farmers to scientifically cultivate flowers.
