Features: Jiangsu is a province densely packed with tourist cities, located in eastern China and bordering the Yellow Sea. The name "Jiangsu" is derived from the first characters of the former prefectures "Jiangning" and "Suzhou." The province is renowned for its well-developed water transport, with the Yangtze River running east-west and the Grand Canal stretching north-south. Taihu Lake, one of China's five major freshwater lakes, and Hongze Lake are located within the province. These lakes are often integrated with the surrounding mountain scenery, creating picturesque landscapes of lakes and mountains. The scenery dominated by the Yangtze River, the Grand Canal, Taihu Lake, and the coastal areas forms a unique tourism resource characterized by "water-centric" and "mountain-water combinations." The tourism features are primarily "ancient" and "water," with scenic gardens and historical sites complementing each other. The province boasts numerous tourist destinations, including Nanjing, known as the "Ancient Capital of the Six Dynasties," Suzhou, celebrated as the "Paradise of Gardens," Wuxi, the "Pearl of Taihu Lake," and Lianyungang, the "Seaside Mountain City." Jiangsu, the birthplace of Wu culture, is rich in ancient cultural heritage, particularly its classical gardens in the Jiangnan region, which are truly captivating.
