Features: "Exposure Technology and Techniques" is one of the series textbooks for the Photography Program at the Beijing Film Academy. The target readers include undergraduate students, correspondence university students, and advanced learners in the field of photography, as well as photography enthusiasts. The book covers exposure theory, exposure design, the working principles, operation methods, exposure techniques, and control considerations of camera metering and exposure systems. The book is divided into nine chapters, with each aspect of the topic largely independent, while marginal issues are interspersed across different chapters with varying emphases. To facilitate self-study, the book explains technical and theoretical concepts in plain language and with illustrations, incorporating the author's personal experience in photography. While teaching the Exposure Control course at the Beijing Film Academy, the author has also been guided and supported by Professor Liu Guodian, the former graduate advisor and current president of the Film Academy, during the writing process of this book. Professor Liu Guodian's book "Photography Exposure Control" laid the foundation for the Film Academy's photography program's exposure technology course and served as the primary reference for this book. Special thanks are extended to Professor Liu Guodian for his care and guidance, as well as to Professor Zhang Yifu for his assistance and direction in the writing of this book. Gratitude is also expressed to colleagues and classmates who provided help and photographic materials. The photographic works in the book, except for those credited, were taken by the author himself.
