Features: The center of Qing history studies is in China. It is undeniable that outstanding works on Qing history should be written by Chinese historians. However, this does not exclude the need to understand and selectively absorb the positive achievements of foreign scholars' research. It is also essential to introduce and analyze academic trends, cutting-edge issues, hot topics, and significant results in overseas Qing history studies in a timely manner, as well as to strengthen exchanges between Qing history scholars at home and abroad. Based on these fundamental understandings, the National Compilation Committee of Qing History has approved the publication of Qing History Translation Series. This series will, depending on specific circumstances, introduce the latest dynamics of overseas Qing history studies to the domestic field through columns such as "Special Studies," "Selected Works and Documents," "Academic Reviews," "Interviews with Experts," "Overseas Features," "Theoretical Debates," "Summary of Arguments," "Book Reviews," and others. Qing History Translation Series is a shared space for all Qing history researchers and enthusiasts. Let us work together to nurture it with our hard efforts, enabling it to make greater contributions to the compilation of Qing history.
