Features: The Practical Word Formation and Collocation Dictionary for Primary School Students adheres to the principle of practical retrieval, incorporating approximately 35,000 basic and commonly used word formation methods and collocation examples from 3,500 frequently and sub-frequently used characters. The primary structural types include words, idioms, and phrases, with a small number of poetic lines. It is currently the smallest reference book published that provides the largest amount of word information. The dictionary uses Pinyin to annotate the pronunciation of single-character entries, marks stroke orders according to the Regulations on Stroke Order of Commonly Used Chinese Characters, labels radicals based on the Draft of the Unified Table of Chinese Radicals, and indicates structural types according to the Table of Basic Structural Types of Chinese Characters. Minor adjustments have been made on this basis. The dictionary is arranged in alphabetical order of Pinyin for the head characters; collocations are organized in the order of disyllabic words, polysyllabic words, and phrases, with forward collocations listed before backward collocations. Backward collocations are the main feature of this dictionary, specifically designed for primary school students to form words. For easy reference, a single-character phonetic index is provided at the beginning of the dictionary.
