Today, while listening to Teacher Zhu's lecture on the article "Autumn Rain," the text follows the of autumn rain, describing the colorful hues of forests, fields, orchards, and flowers in early autumn—specifically, the orchard is described with the sentence, "Orange-red is given to the fruit trees; the fruit trees are full of fruits, pushing and shoving each other." Students imagined based on the phrase "pushing and shoving." Some said the fruits grew exceptionally abundant, others used the phrase "bountiful fruits," and some described "fruits laden on the branches." This was exactly the answer I had in mind. Just as I felt pleased, an inconspicuous little girl mumbled, "The tree is full of fruits, and that little tree sweated from exhaustion." Upon deeper reflection, I was struck by the charm of children's language:
First, the word "sweat" captured the natural phenomenon of warm earth and cool air with condensed dew in autumn;
Second, "sweated from exhaustion" vividly depicted the scene of a small tree covered in abundant fruits;
Third, the word "exhausted" conveyed the joy and sweetness of the small tree, though hardworking, in achieving a bountiful harvest through its own efforts;
Fourth, in just a few words, it vividly portrayed the image of a lovable, ambitious, fruitful, and personified small tree.
