Features: Childhood simple obesity is a serious deviation in the fundamental life process of children's growth and development, causing extremely severe harm to physical development, mental development, the acquisition and expression of potential and real abilities, as well as psychological-behavioral health. This damage, once involved in children's life patterns during childhood, can persist into later life. Since encountering obesity in the late 1970s, it has gone through approximately three stages. First, there was novelty, confusion but full of enthusiasm; then, confidence and high enthusiasm; next, a growing sense of strangeness, being at a loss, and occasional panic. Now, this is the state of cautiousness. A key feature of the shift in the modern medical model is the focus on health: conducting basic research, clinical research, and epidemiological studies on important cutting-edge topics such as health promotion and harmful health risk factors. The basic model of contemporary health focus is to prioritize prospective interventions starting from pre-pregnancy nutritional preparation to ensure the sustainable maintenance and protection of health throughout the fetal period, childhood, and even adulthood. In this field, the classic example is the childhood prevention of adult cardiovascular diseases, i.e., the research on childhood simple obesity.
