Features: Cervical spondylosis patients should choose a suitable pillow. Generally, kapok or latex pillows are recommended. When lying on your back, the height of the pillow should be about the height of a fist. When lying on your side, the height of the pillow should be equal to the width of one shoulder.
Indications: Symptomatically relieved in various types of cervical spondylosis patients.
Contraindications: Acute symptom flare-up or progressive spinal cord compression symptoms.
Preparation Position: From the 7th to the 12th cervical vertebrae, assume a sitting or standing position; from the 15th to the 16th cervical vertebrae, stand; keep the head and neck in a neutral position.
Precautions: ① Breathe naturally during exercise; ② Repeat each movement 5–8 times, practicing 1–2 times daily; ③ Movements should be smooth and gentle, returning the head to the starting position after each movement; ④ If pain or dizziness occurs after exercise, it may indicate overly fast or large movements. Slow down or reduce the range of motion accordingly. If symptoms worsen, stop exercising; ⑤ For patients with dizziness, head rotation should be slow.
