Security Investment is an applied economics that originates from investment practice and guides investors on how to invest correctly. According to the target audience it serves, Security Economics can be divided into three disciplines:
① Corporate Finance: It studies how companies arrange their financing structure to achieve financing goals at the minimum cost.
② Investment Banking: It examines how investment banks achieve clients' long-term investment objectives through a series of financial arrangements.
③ Investment: It explores how investors can invest to achieve the maximum growth of wealth, with Security Investment being its main content.
In the field of security research, the focus has long been persistently placed on specific issues of government concern, while the concerns of investors, financiers, and practitioners have been insufficiently addressed—this cannot be said to be a minor regret. In the field of security investment research, studies that are superficial, impressionistic, observational, and speculative are rampant, while insightful and in-depth research is scarce—this cannot be said to be the second major regret. It is hoped that the publication of this book will contribute constructively to security research.
