Features: Chinese ancient poetry is brilliant, profound, and lofty, embodying the essence of Chinese culture. Familiarizing oneself with and reciting some Tang poems can often cultivate temperament, enhance quality, and leave a lifelong impression with boundless benefits. This book selects 100 well-known ancient poems, including those recommended by the Ministry of Education for recitation. In a relaxed and innovative format, it provides detailed explanations and guidance to help young readers better understand ancient poetry, while also assisting parents in comprehensive tutoring. The book is divided into four parts:
1. "Poem and Pinyin." We have provided pinyin for the original text. Due to varying interpretations of certain words in ancient poetry, we have chosen the most common understanding for pinyin.
2. "Poem Transformed into Prose." Instead of annotating individual words, we rewrite the poems as prose, integrating explanations into the narrative. This approach allows for a holistic understanding of the poems and also provides a reference for common exercises and exams, such as rewriting poems as prose.
3. "Poetic Appreciation." Answers can be found here for what makes each poem excellent and how to appreciate it.
4. "Poem Stories." These may be stories about a specific poem, a poet, or general poetic knowledge. In any case, reading these stories helps readers gain more background information and, consequently, a deeper understanding of the ancient poetry.
