Battle of Yunnan-Burma: The Chinese-Indochina Expeditionary Force and the Chinese Expeditionary Force advanced over 2,400 kilometers, recaptured over 50 towns, liberated 130,000 square kilometers of Burmese territory, recovered 83,000 square kilometers of lost western Yunnan territory, killed 48,000 Japanese soldiers, captured 647 Japanese soldiers, seized over 11,000 rifles, 600 light and heavy machine guns, 160 artillery pieces, 12 tanks, 606 vehicles, and 3 aircraft. The Chinese-Indochina Expeditionary Force and the Expeditionary Force suffered over 67,000 casualties.
