Features: As we all know, living environments and dietary cultures in the East and West are vastly different, and the understanding and perception of life also vary greatly. Therefore, it is not suitable to directly introduce Western architecture, interior decoration, and home furnishings into Eastern societies. We hold the DBEW International Design Competition to provide a platform for designers from around the world to exchange ideas. This allows them to learn from foreign designs while focusing on local culture, truly creating outstanding works that meet the needs of their own communities. This book is a collection of winning works from past editions of the "Beyond East and West Design" -- DBEW International Design Competition, encompassing all the winning entries from each year. This competition is a world-class interior design competition, with entries completed by emerging designers from all over the world, showcasing the forward-thinking, creativity, and practicality of contemporary design. Due to the differences in cultural backgrounds, growth experiences, and practical experience among the designers, the entries are diverse and vibrant. They reflect the in-depth thinking of international young designers in promoting the avant-garde spirit of interior design while addressing practical problems, offering us inspiration from multiple perspectives and angles.
