Features: The Three Character Classic is almost a concise and intuitive outline of historical education! I believe that whether it was children in ancient times or today, once they become familiar with and memorize this book, it will greatly help them in learning deeper and broader historical knowledge in the future. The Rules for Students has relatively simple content, mainly focusing on the life etiquette and moral norms that children should know and follow. The author, Li Yuxiu, was a famous scholar in the Qing Dynasty. He compiled this book based on the teachings of ancient sages to their disciples, and it has been widely circulated since its inception. To help children better understand these two books, we have added some related stories, tips, and knowledge during our annotations, such as the story of Meng Mu's three relocations, Confucius's visit to his teacher, and small knowledge like "What are the six domestic animals and six grains?" This way, children can learn to read while also enjoying stories and acquiring knowledge, which will better assist them in learning and understanding the content of the books.
Five thousand years of Chinese civilization have shaped our modern "ancient cultural nation" and "land of etiquette." China has always placed great importance on historical and etiquette education. As modern people, we should learn more about history and study etiquette norms and the principles of self-cultivation and social interaction. Learning the essence of Chinese cultural classics from a young age can not only inspire wisdom and cultivate character but also help form good personal qualities. Starting with the Three Character Classic and the Rules for Students as the foundation of traditional culture is both a long-standing practice in ancient education and a suitable choice for the current era. I believe these two books will not only help young readers understand a civilization and history, learn a language and literature, but also enhance their character and refinement, laying a solid foundation for their future in society.
