Features: To meet the needs of the development of higher vocational medical education, in accordance with the spirit of the "Ministry of Education's Opinions on Strengthening the Talent Cultivation Work of Higher Vocational and College Education" that emphasizes the importance of textbook development and the principle that textbooks should "highlight practicality and hands-on training, restructure course content, and update textbook materials," as well as adhering to the requirement that "basic theoretical teaching should be aimed at application with a focus on what is necessary and sufficient, and specialized courses should strengthen relevance and practicality." This book organically integrates human anatomy and histology and embryology, with anatomy primarily focusing on systemic anatomy, incorporating some local anatomy content into each system rather than setting up separate chapters for it. To accommodate the rapidly developing medical imaging diagnosis technologies in recent years, such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI, 10 hours of sectional anatomy have been added to support medical students' self-study or as an elective course. Embryology focuses on early embryonic development, omitting the content on the development of each embryonic system. To enhance practical teaching and standardize laboratory course instruction, the "Laboratory Guide for Anatomy and Histology and Embryology" has been compiled, which can not only improve the quality of laboratory teaching but also facilitate the preparation of experimental teaching materials in a planned and targeted manner. This textbook covers twelve chapters, including basic tissues, the musculoskeletal system, the digestive system, the respiratory system, the urinary system, the reproductive system, the circulatory system, and the endocrine system. The book is accompanied by the "Laboratory Guide for Anatomy and Histology and Embryology" and other content.
