Features: Intravascular Therapy is the volume of the two-volume set on percutaneous treatments. All case reports in the book have been edited and organized. At the beginning of each case, the patient's problem or disease and the etiology of the interventional treatment are introduced. Then, detailed imaging findings are provided, along with procedural and technical descriptions. The end of each case includes a review and discussion of the treatment methods for the problem, covering different techniques, outcomes, applications, and potential complications that may arise from the use of special techniques for individual patients. This book is organized by technical procedures rather than by organ systems, and each procedure is illustrated with different cases. Therefore, readers can discover the parts of the book that interest them by reviewing the cases for each procedure. The book strives to highlight the unique features of interventional radiology compared to diagnostic radiology from title to content. Considering that percutaneous procedures are, in fact, therapeutic operations performed through a minimally invasive surgical approach rather than interventional radiology procedures or an extension of radiology, we have decided to call it percutaneous treatment.
