Features: Selected Works of Chinese Ethnic Minority Literature is jointly edited by the College of Chinese Ethnic Minority Language and Literature, Department of Chinese Ethnic Minority Language and Literature, and the Research Institute of Chinese Ethnic Minority Universities at Minzu University of China. The book is divided into three volumes: Selected Works of Folk Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities, Selected Works of Ancient and Modern Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities, and Selected Works of Modern and Contemporary Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities. This series of works, together with the already published Introduction to Folk Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities, Introduction to Ancient and Modern Writer Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities, and Introduction to Modern and Contemporary Writer Literature of Chinese Ethnic Minorities, forms a series of ethnic literature textbooks for students majoring in Chinese ethnic minority literature. Our College of Chinese Ethnic Minority Language and Literature has become a first-class discipline at the national level and one of the national base disciplines for liberal arts. The compilation of corresponding textbooks has been put on the agenda. Over the past few years, we have placed great emphasis on the compilation of ethnic literature textbooks. Since 1997, we have published a series of ethnic literature textbooks and have been using them effectively among our undergraduate and graduate students. In the coming years, we will organize experts and professors to compile more detailed ethnic literature textbooks to promote the development of the discipline of Chinese ethnic minority literature and foster the prosperity of the ethnic minority literature cause.
