Features: In English learning, reading and writing are two very important components. Especially in recent years, the proportion of reading and writing has been increasing in various English-related exams. In response to this situation, we have developed this series of books, "English Reading and Writing Integrated Training," based on the national new curriculum standards. This series consists of six volumes, divided into Grades 7, 8, 9, Senior 1, Senior 2, and Senior 3. Each volume is tailored to the knowledge points and reading difficulty of different grades, providing corresponding reading passages and writing exercises. It organically combines reading comprehension with written expression, reflecting the close relationship and interconnection between reading and writing in English learning.
This series is based on reading as the foundation and aims to improve writing skills. It selects reading materials specifically to enhance writing abilities. Based on the relevant knowledge points in the reading materials, it sets up question types such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and sentence-making to micro-levelly train vocabulary usage and test grammar mastery. On this basis, it designs question types around word usage, sentence structures, and idiomatic expressions, serving as a bridge to establish the "Writing Extension" section. This ultimately helps improve readers' writing skills.
Additionally, in the writing exercises, specific requirements are provided, such as expanding or summarizing reading materials, using certain words, phrases, or sentence structures, and practicing corresponding essay writing based on the genre of the reading material. Throughout this process, readers are expected to apply the knowledge points from reading to writing exercises and compare them to identify gaps. This approach helps readers accumulate experience while improving both reading and writing skills.
