Features: In the southwestern part of Guangxi, where China borders Vietnam, there is a very charming waterfall, one of Guangxi's famous waterfalls—the Detian Waterfall. Detian Waterfall is located in Detian Village, Shuolong Township, Daxin County. It is 78 kilometers away from the county seat. There, the mountains are layered and lush, with dense forests. The water cascades down from 80 meters high, where it borders Vietnam on the Putang Island, forming three tiers of waterfalls in a zigzag pattern. The waterfall is 120 meters wide, about 70 meters high, and about 60 meters deep. The water curtains resemble strings of pearls hanging deep in the mountains, or like silk scrolls hanging before the cliffs. Due to its great drop, it produces a thunderous roar that is awe-inspiring, and can be heard clearly even a kilometer away. The splashing water droplets flutter before the mountains, creating a white mist within 100 meters that lingers year-round. On sunny days, the mist is colorful and dazzling, as if one has stepped into a mystical and enchanting realm. The surrounding mountains are dotted with terraced fields, and next to them are the stone mountains of the China-Vietnam border. The stone mountains are covered with towering, lush trees, especially the large, straight-trunked, shade-providing trees, which are particularly majestic. Under the roaring waterfall lies a deep pool, over 30 meters deep and more than 200 meters wide. The pool is home to a variety of fish, which are fat and delicious. The local farmers often go fishing in the pool, and their fishing boats drift beneath the waterfall, adding even more poetry and vitality to the scene. The rugged mountain songs of the fishermen blend with the roar of the waterfall, creating a beautiful and melodious mountain song. Such a beautiful landscape—who wouldn't be captivated?
