Others are sorted in descending order of seniority: senior generals, mid-ranking generals, and junior generals, with names within the same rank arranged by stroke order. Generals promoted between 1955 and 1964, including those promoted after 1988 (inclusive) with higher ranks than those before, are introduced in the text but not listed in the roster order. The volume includes 10 marshals, 10 field marshals, 57 senior generals, and 177 mid-ranking generals. 1,360 junior generals are divided between the second and third volumes. A few individuals who later took a negative path are still included in the book to accurately reflect history and preserve the complete historical records.
