Features: With the advancement of technology and medicine, laboratory medicine has also made significant progress. Overall, these changes can be summarized in two main aspects. One is its own development. Currently, automated instruments are widely used in various fields of laboratory testing. The use of these instruments has improved work efficiency, ensured experimental results, and provided effective guarantees for timely clinical diagnosis and therapeutic evaluation. At the same time, the scope of laboratory testing has gradually expanded. It has evolved from the traditional three major routine tests to detailed specialization in five fields: clinical laboratory tests, clinical biochemistry, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, and clinical hematology. This provides more comprehensive evaluation indicators for the diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment observation of diseases. Additionally, new technologies have been gradually applied. They have improved detection sensitivity and research depth, broadened the range of indicators, and provided a reliable experimental foundation for further research on disease mechanisms. The second aspect is the increasing close connection between laboratory testing and clinical practice. Laboratory testing assists clinical practice in disease diagnosis and treatment, while clinical practice provides feedback for quality control of experimental results. The two are interdependent and develop in a coordinated manner.
