Features: As a classic TV English course from the 1980s, this series has taken China by storm with its brand-new functional teaching approach and rich, innovative teaching methods. The series is divided into two volumes, each accompanied by 10 VCDs. The revised "Learn with Me" retains many of the strengths of the original version. First, it still consists of 60 episodes, covering 60 themes that include 10 common language functions in daily life. Every 10 lessons focus on similar language functions, allowing learners to review and learn new knowledge. Second, it preserves the original situational dramas filmed by the BBC's "Learn with Me" production team. The lively and humorous performances fully reflect the humor of the British, combined with authentic British pronunciation, offering a true audio-visual experience. Third, interspersed between the dramas are real-life dialogues and songs related to the situational language functions, helping learners expand their language knowledge. Fourth, in 40 of the episodes, we have included a documentary titled "Follow Me to Britain," introducing learners to British culture and giving them a sense of being there. Fifth, in the remaining 20 episodes, we have inserted four series of short dramas with thrilling and engaging plots.
The revised "Learn with Me" also adds some new features. The 60 episodes of the video program are hosted by the renowned host Yang Lan (for the first 30 episodes) and Kathy Flower from the BBC (for the last 30 episodes), with more detailed and up-to-date explanations to meet the needs of current learners. At the same time, we have added two student roles to the revised "Learn with Me," designing interactive exercises and speaking activities between teachers and students, which enhances the program's interactivity and communicative nature, greatly benefiting learners in improving their communication skills. The revised "Learn with Me" is divided into two volumes, each accompanied by 10 VCDs, and is suitable for English learners at the beginner level. We hope the new "Learn with Me" will bring a fresh experience and new achievements to all English learners.
