Features: The "New Series of Historical and Cultural Notes" edited by Qiao Gan, which collects historical and cultural notes written by senior scholars from various local institutes of learning and culture across the country. These notes are concise, lively, and provide a general reflection of the local folklore and historical anecdotes of the past century. The "New Series of Historical and Cultural Notes" was jointly edited by the Central Institute of Learning and Culture with the participation of 32 institutes of learning and culture nationwide. Over a decade has passed since its first publication. In response to requests from various parties, the Central Institute of Learning and Culture has decided to reprint this series and has entrusted it to Zhonghua Book Company for publication. Zhonghua Book Company has retypeset the entire series with a new layout, corrected some statements, and preserved the original appearance of the series. The original photographs in the series were not used in the second edition due to the difficulties in reprinting and collecting them.
