Features: In the past two years, there have been more books on zodiac themes, which is a good thing. The twelve zodiac signs are a cultural tradition of Greater China. Chinese people may not know their blood type or their parents' blood type, but they are sure to know their surname and zodiac sign. Both Chinese zodiac signs and Western constellations are categorized into twelve units. Research in this field is diverse. However, on a national scale, with a duration of over a decade and with the results compiled and published continuously, I haven't seen anything like this before. This series of books should be a special case. Unknowingly, the series has already reached its sixth volume and has gained widespread attention from all sectors of society. Some kind-hearted people suggested whether it might be possible to create outdoor artworks themed around a specific zodiac sign (e.g., the Horse) in their city's parks, benefiting the local community. I said let's wait and see. When it comes to art, if you want it to spread, you can't rush it. At last year's industry event, I received encouragement from teachers Chen Hanmin, Jin Daqiang, and Lü Jingren, who all praised the zodiac activities, noting that the quality of the works has improved with each edition, and the series has made significant contributions to the design industry. Thank you very much! In truth, the brilliance of the series comes from the outstanding works, and the excellence of the works comes from the vast quantity and sources of the works. All of this stems from the trust of authors from all over the country in the event and the professional judges. By the way, this year, I would like to especially thank Lin Pansong for taking on the role of a judge (all judges are voluntary). He is a highly respected Taiwanese visual design professor with extensive experience. Here, in addition to thanking the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, I must also thank Teacher Wu Jinghong from the Central Academy of Fine Arts Affiliated High School, Teacher Zhou Jingming from the Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts, and all the students. They have devoted significant effort and created excellent works. The Year of the Dog is here, so I must express my gratitude to my two dogs at home. One is my wife, who belongs to the Dog zodiac, for her years of care in both life and work. The other is the golden dog "Hehe" who wandered into my home six years ago on Chinese New Year's Eve, for bringing our family so much joy. Finally, allow me to wish all dog lovers safety! May all good dogs and good people who belong to the Dog zodiac remain safe and pass their Year of the Dog smoothly. Prosperity, prosperity!
