Features: Modern brain physiology research shows that children around the age of 5 have their brains develop to a mature stage. This period is the key time for children's intellectual development, which is why educational departments advocate for three years of preschool education for children. Children aged 3 to 6 are highly curious and eager to learn, making it a critical time for parents and educational departments to provide enlightenment and intellectual education. What should they learn? The Ministry of Education's guidelines require "using books, paintings, and other various forms to spark children's interest in reading and writing, cultivating preschool reading and writing skills, and fostering their interest in common simple symbols and text marks in daily life." To this end, we have invited educators to write the Preschool Education Reader: Starting Steps. The Preschool Education Reader: Starting Steps consists of 10 titles, including "Language Starting Steps," "Intelligence Starting Steps," "Thinking Starting Steps," "Ancient Poems Starting Steps," "English Starting Steps," and "Subtraction Starting Steps." These books feature simple and easy-to-understand content, progressing step by step according to children's cognitive abilities. They use colors, images, text, and games to spark children's learning interest. Learning through play helps develop children's cognitive, observational, memory, logical reasoning, judgment, and language expression skills, unlocking their intelligence, improving their intellectual level, and fostering their competitiveness, enabling them to smoothly transition into primary school learning and life.
